By day, I'm a mild mannered helpdesk technician working at one of the largest hosting companies in Australia. In my infinite spare time, I like to investigate those things which make other people's hair curl. Consciousness is my favourite subject, and its secret inroads into the world - in magick, prayer, the natural world and all the other areas it manifests its hidden power.

espiritkat, who I met in 2006. I hope one day to live over in the Bay area with her. She helps me to keep my sanity through the hours of the daily grind.
I am a Burner, and playa dust is the special seasoning for dishes I prepare every year when we go to participate in the making of our dreams in the middle of the Nevada desert. My burner name is Pahana, for several reasons which will become apparent if you know me well enough.
I am a card carrying member of Temple of all Gods, a group of ragtag magicians, thelemites, tantrikas and consciously living freaks formed by my good friendveleda.
I am a philosopher and sometimes a scholar, with a library of well over 500 books scattered across Australia and the U.S. Some day I hope to write a book or two based on my researches. You never know, it could happen!
All of this hardly scratches the surface. I like to blog a lot, often about inane and boring topics - my everyday life, movies I watch, miraculous events that occurred to me in the process of conscious living, and more. I sometimes make angsty emo posts aided by too much wine or beer, sometimes I even make posts that I regret making public and make them private instead. I love people deeply, am an empath and a healer. I can be shy at times, but its okay to come up and talk to me and interact!
